There is a higher purpose to the Martial arts, the way it brings people together and the way it give people the confidence to be themselves.

I would like to thank everyone in the club for their support hard work helping with the renovation and believing in the dream of the Dojo. A place to train for all.

Last but not least my Mom Ann Ludick and Dad Ben Ludick that helped me and inspired me through my life.

Dad came to visit me in England December 2006 and spent most his time helping me move the Gym and lay it out and paint and decorate. Thanks and love you very much your Son Kevin Ludick.
 

Thanks to Sensei Shihan Franse Bronkhorst for all his help in teaching me to respect everything in life. I am so gratefull for all your guidance Sensei. You are the most humble man I know. Goju for ever. Uso!

Dr (MA) Kevin Ludick W.B.O.B H.O.F

Sensei Kevin Ludick started martial arts at the age of 5 with his Dad Ben Ludick at a Dojo in South Africa called Ninja School of Martial Arts in the 70’s.

Because of his Japanese Sensei at that time had to go back to Japan he moved on to Tae Kwon Do.

 After moving to a new province Transvaal Kevin started Goju-Ryu Karate in Orkney and then Goju-Kai in Klerksdorp. Joining for national service Kevin got accepted into the 1 Parachute battalion and go his wings 1989. Training with a lot of Boxers, Thai Boxing and Karate styles was fun and opened his horizons to the martial arts. It was a bit like mix and match. Moving on to Kickboxing in Johannesburg. Sensei Kevin had a motorbike accident and took a year to walk again. Training with the Jundokan and Tae kwon Do to strengthen body again was hard.

Moving to the Uk in 2000 started a new and exiting training with Lots of new People and attending Gasukus with Fugiwara Sensei and Higoanna Sensei Goshi Sensei and many more interesting People. Sensei Kevin was give a Hall of Fame in 2003 for his Dedication to Martial arts by World United Martial Arts Federation. Sensei Kevin won the -90kg WUMA European Full contact Kickboxing championship in 2003.

In 2004 Kevin got his Sokeship and Masters from the Martial Arts Masters World Federation and registered his own style Shin Tai Kickboxing and awarded an PhD Doctorate as Dr Master Kevin Ludick. In 2005 Kevin defended his European Title successfully.

In 2006 Kevin Won the World United Martial Arts Kickboxing World Full Contact -90kg Title. Starting The Combat Gym Ltd in 1 April 2007 and in 2008 Kevin won European Strike and Grapple tournament. Kevin got his 2nd UK Hall of Fame January 2009. 

Braking new grounds in 2009  Kevin fought his first Pro MMA debut in the Cage on Cage Rage Fighting Hurts Television program in London.

In 2010 Kevin got a Silver Lifetime Hall of Fame Award for his life time dedication to the Martial arts in New Jersey Atlantic City America.

The vast majority of our members train exclusively for self defense, fitness and fun, which translates to stress release and a sense of well being. Drilling and sparring translates to the most intensive, exciting, challenging and safe way to build the necessary attributes for self-defense as well as build overall fitness.
