 Started my Karate Career 1967 - Welkom

 Fought in my first Springbok National team trials in 1972 as a Brown Belt and my first
fight was against Sensei Eddy Dorey a 3rd Dan at that stage

 Captain of Senior Free State Provincial Karate Team & Free State Open Karate
Champion - 5 Years Provincial Champion in a row (1975 - 1980)

 Free state provincial open weapon section champion 1976 (Bow Kata)

 Captain of South Africa Karate Defence Force Team & S.A. Defence
Force Open Karate Champion and Colours. (1978)

 Captain of National Springbok Karate team vs. U.S.A. in Welkom (1981)
South Africa won the International test

 Selected for Springbok National team to compete in World Championships in Japan.
(Trip was cancelled due to political reasons) Visa's refused

 Competing five times againts International Teams

 S.A. Goju Karate National team that toured Rhodesia - 1974 & 1975 South Africa
won both Tests.

 S.A. National Goju Karate team fighting Japan and England - 1978 South Africa won
the overall 1st Place

 3 x Times finalist Sportsman of the Year for A.A.C.
The only Sportsman to ever got this achievement 3 times in a row

 2 X Finalist , Sportsman of the year for Welkom my home Town.

 2 x times 2nd Places at all styles National Karate championships

 3 x Times Placed on the Honorary Role from the Klerksdorp Town Council for
Sport achievements.(1980 - 1983)

 Obtain my 5th Dan in Karate in 2000

 Was the Senior chief instructor and chairman of the North West
Province for 20 Years

 Trained in Japan, Hong Kong, Okinawa etc under Shihan Higaonna and
Shihan Chinen

 Placed on the Honorary Role from the Welkom Town Council (Home Town)for
Sport achievements.

 2 x Awards Placed on the Honorary Role "HALL OF FAME" (from the South Africa KARATE
Association All Styles ) (2004)

 Placed on the Honorary Role from the Benoni Town Council (Gauteng R.S.A)for
Sport achievements.(2007)

 Placed on the Honorary Role (South Africa) as "Life Time Member" in Karate 2008
