Aren’t you a Martial Arts school?
That’s very true Combat Gym is one of the largest Martial Arts training facilities in the South West of England.
We are also a fitness centre with all the usual equipment you would expect to find in a gym.
And so much more besides
Apart from our own Karate, Kickboxing, MMA, Thai & traditional Boxing classes we work closely with the Barnardo’s National Children's Charity and some local schools in and around the Weston area to promote fitness and self esteem amongst the children in our area.
We are also a Weston College approved training facility and on their behalf we run courses at the gym.
Recently we became a registered partner in the NHS initiative “Change 4 Life” currently being launched on national television in order to promote healthy lifestyles for all, child and adult alike.
I want to get fitter but the gym is so expensive. How can you help me?
Simple. We make it affordable. A recent survey of local fitness trends showed us that there are many people of all ages who would like to take part in regular exercise sessions but currently do not attend a gym due to the high costs of monthly membership and extra charges which can be incurred at some fitness centers.
In some cases this can be as high as £70 per month.

We believe that we have created a fitness centre at an affordable price for everyone.

What is so different about the new Combat Gym fitness centre?

For fitness training we do not charge membership, joining fees or session rates

Quite simply we offer a single affordable rate for use of a no frills exercise centre.
We do not have Pilates, Aerobics or over keen, pushy instructors.
We do have friendly staff to offer advice on training when you want it or put some music to suit you on the stereo system then leave you alone when you don’t!
Our “Special features” do not include a bar, comfy padded couches, fancy decoration, fitted shag pile carpets or posh lighting because they’re expensive and have never been proven to improve fitness and health! What we do have are clean facilities, modern equipment including Exercise Cycles, Rowers, Treadmills, Steppers, Gym Balls, Sit up Benches and other training equipment available to use at any time, on any day for as long as you want*. Showers are available after your session if required
Vending machines are available for hot or soft drinks and snacks.

So just how much do you charge?

Just  £20 a month for unlimited use*

By monthly direct debit. subject to 3 month cancellation period. Weekly cash payment option £5 per week also available by arrangement

* Use subject to gym opening times and availability of equipment, due to the popularity of the facility pre booking may be required at peak times
